TerraCare Software seeks to collaborate with select organizations capable of fostering the development, availability, and use of meaningful educational tools. Our proven ability to develop award-winning and widely used tools can contribute the success of our partner's strategic efforts. While TerraCare is eager to discuss the development of entirely new tools, many existing TerraCare products can be adapted to meet a range of partner objectives. Below are but a few suggestions on how this adaptation might occur. Localisation Many of our tools can be localised to meet the needs of new audiences in different countries and regions. This process includes localising the model, scenario, and/or content. For example, our indoor air quality simulation is based on air quality problems found in a typical Russian flat. It could be easily adapted to reflect air quality problems found in homes of other countries. Our salmon simulation focuses on major problems surrounding the survival of the Pacific Northwest salmon. It could be adapted to address problems facing other salmon runs around the world. Our air pollution simulation could be adapted to reflect the specific air pollution conditions facing specific cities and regions around the world. New Focus Other adaptions include loading a new focus of concern into an existing simulation framework. For example, our print- and software-based indoor air quality simulation feature simulated homes where players search for indoor air quality problems. However, both simulations could easily be adapted to have players search for other problems related to health, safety, and/or energy efficiency. Likewise, a different endangered species could be loaded into our existing simulation on the Pacific Northwest salmon. TerraCare's role play simulation on product development, which currently teaches about game design, could focus the design of a different product. Internet-Ready Other adaptions might include upgrading many existing tools for use on the internet. Leading candidates include our simulations on personal finance, salmon, indoor air quality, and sustainable development.
